Money Easy Peacock

As its name suggests, this Money Easy Peacock is pretty easy when it comes to peacocks. Any rectangle will work; you can even make this peacock using the wrapper from a disposable chopstick. The final model is quite small (about 1.5 inches high) so you should be careful that it isn't accidentally thrown into the garbage. On the other hand, it is a 3D model which can stand upright so that might be its saving quality.

Step 1: Start with a crisp dollar bill. Place it with black-side facing up and in vertical orientation. Fold down the top corners so the top-edges meet at the center.

Step 2: Repeat: fold down the left and right sides of the model so the top-edges meet at the center.

Step 3: Fold behind (mountain fold) the top of the model. The crease should be at the junction where the edges stop touching one another. The section above the crease will be the peacock's body. The section below the crease will be the tail.

Step 4a: Start to pleat the tail section of the model. First, fold the bottom portion of the dollar bill in half, then in half again to make 1/4 divisions.
Fold back up the top section of the model.
